Depending on your MEIPE score, your goal at the end of the term will be reading at a 10th to 12th grade level at about 200 words per minute. You have to take into consideration that you have to comprehend what you read. I think that I've improved my reading skill. Rgard of the result in the paced reading and the newspaper reading activity where I got 89% is pretty good. I also get a 100% in the time reading with 190 wpm...
The biggest problem that I faced on my reading is that I focus for the first three or five lines than I start to lose my focus. I think I new to read daily to improve my reading.
It seems many of my classmates got nice score. I got only 60%,65%, and 170. I have to improve a lot about my reading skill. I'm gonna make it. :)

I should improve my volcarbulary. And I read many books for my background.

I think the most important thing I have to improve is the focus on detail. I usually understand the main idea of the passage but I often miss some detial. I think I need more practicing in reading.

The strategy of reading skills are very very useful to improve reading. I try to read paced reading. In terms of Newspaper and timed reading, I got a perfect socore, unfortunately I have to practice paced reading. I will keep up the work.
In fact, improving the reading is something that I decided to live up with by the end of this course. Due to my result in the map test, lots of people and Marsha are on among these people who advised me to work with the reading. In order to be accepted in the University of Maryland (the university that I’ve applied to) you as a full time student you should get score of 60 in the reading and this only thing that I’ve missed. So when I saw my results in the ultimate speed reader exercises that I improved but not the level that I want to be and achieve because my result in the news paper is 75% in the comprehension, paced reading 81% in the comprehension, and 185 words in the time reading with 100% in comprehension. So I’m going to try my best for the rest of the semester to improve my reading.

I'm satisfied with my resalts...but i have to improve my vocabulary for not to guess but understand meening of every word
