In this class, I read "An Exercise in Patience in Power Builder. It is a little long story but it's not hard. When reading, it is very important to have a background knowldege or familiar topic to read. Reading comprehension is much better than before but I have trouble in figuing out phrasal verbs. They say that there is no way to conquer phrasal verbs for foreign students. I'll keep up the work on phrasal verbs.
This time I have learned new strategy which is to focus on the names and dates and which dose it related to. I have got 65% while I read 265 words. I think it’s quite good for me.
I got not much score again in Power Builder, but I got pretty good score in Ultimate Speed Reader. Almost lunch time, see you next time :)

Today, I have read about a woman that was the first governor women in the United State. It was very long, but very useful for me. And
I think I still have to imporve my reading's skill more and more.
This time, I spent less time to finish the rate builder and power builder. I think I did improve my reading speed but the problem is that I can't read very carefully. For example, I often misunderstand the meaning of the questions and answers.
For my tasks of Speed Reader, newspaper reading is 75% in 200wpm, Paced reading is 87% in 200Wpm, and Timed reading is 81% in 186 wpm. I improved slowly but I got the point of my reading, I can't analyze the organization of each paragraph when I read very fast!
It was very hard to concentrade on the reading, so my scores are not good today. I think I need more study for vocabulary..
